Brussels-based vinyl only label Sous:sol is a thin vessel for modern club sounds, focusing on the simplest form of sharing music. Run by local DJ Karla Boehm, it is now into its fifth release which comes from two artists: one legend of the scene and a promising newcomer. On the A side, San Diego's John Manhard delivers two sensual and emotive deep house grooves, that come with a subtle 'micro' touch that has seen him release thus far on like-minded labels such as Clovis' Understory imprint. On the flip, hero of the Parisian underground Lowris delivers his idiosyncratic style as always on his remix of Manhard's A2 cut "Man Thangs R Shiity Rn".
