When Middle Eastern heat meets Nordic melancholy… Trail of Ganoush are a London-based world music duo formed of Sass Hoory on oud and Andrin Haag on piano. The both multi-instrumentalists compose with influences from music cultures around the world, ranging from Middle Eastern music, North African rhythms to Scandinavian jazz elements. The instrumental pieces of Trail of Ganoush take you on an immersive journey with cinematic ambiance, lush vocal spheres and at times, intricate rhythm patterns. Their music style has been compared to the likes of Michael League & Bill Laurance of Snarky Puppy and Dhafer Youssef. Composers Hoory and Haag are in the process of mixing their debut album and have released their first three singles alongside captivating live videos.

Her lyrics tend to comment on nature, love, self-awareness and womanhood; with a moody undertone. Melina Blanco is an indie pop singer/songwriter from Buenos Aires, Argentina based in London. Raised on The Beatles and inspired by female artists such as Phoebe Bridgers and Lorde, she uses songwriting to untangle her life experiences and emotions. Over the last year she has been playing live with her all female band such as at 2000Trees Festival and headlining Notting Hill Arts Club.

Now going into his second year at the Royal Academy Of Music, Manuel has received tuition from some of the biggest names in the UK jazz scene, as well as having studied Latin American music while in Argentina. With his new quartet he has gathered some of the finest musicians from the London scene to play a set of his new original music, which has a variety of different influences to create a unique sound.

Louis Wildi is a saxophonist emerging from his final year at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music, where he has studied with mentors such as Mike Williams and Julian Siegel. Drawing inspiration from a blend of players such as Dick Oatts, Keith Jarrett and Coltrane, his sound and improvising reflects a deep engagement within both the traditional and conceptual field. Louis and his band will be performing original compositions, which are shaped in a modern aesthetic, and blend spiritual soundscapes with nods to the bebop tradition as well as Latin influences.

Fascinated by nature and religion, her songwriting is built of her own personal mythology; memories of her suburban childhood and stories from the fields and mountains she wandered to once she grew up, twisted through the vivid and sometimes surreal lens of her lyricism. At its centre, her music is anchored by a voice that is at once shivering, delicate and sometimes terrifying, renowned for an ability to ‘wail’ and ‘keen’.

Born and raised on the footsteps of Snowdonia in North Wales, the now London-based pianist, composer and producer, Gwenno Morgan, crafts translucent soundscapes from intimate song structures. Inspired by folk melodies and cinematic atmospheres but always transcending traditional boundaries, Gwenno, 25, is back from her year-long hiatus as she shares her new music this Autumn.
